New Vaccination Requirement as of February 25, 2022

As of February 25, 2022 BUSD is requiring all students attending in-person classes at Berkeley Adult School be fully vaccinated. If you are eligible for the booster, per CDC (5 months after Moderna or Pfizer or 2 months after the J&J), you MUST be boosted to come to in-person classes. If you are not yet eligible to be boosted, you can still attend in person. Once you are eligible to be boosted, you will need to get the dose in order to continue to attend school in person.

Current students, if you are eligible for a booster now, we recommend you get the booster as soon as possible. For up to date Covid-19 information or for locations of vaccine clinics, please visit the City of Berkeley Website

Show your current vaccination record to school staff. You may email a photo of your vaccination card or a copy of your QR code to BASinfo@berkeley.net. Staff will also be visiting in-person as we near February 25 to view student vaccination records. Staff will record the dates of student vaccinations. Students should not have to show BAS their vaccination record again unless their vaccination status changes or the vaccination requirements change.

Thank you for your patience with this process. Thank you for taking care of your classmates, teachers, family and yourself in this way.
